Blood tracking test
Blood tracking test is a competition form that is supposed to be as
close to a real hunting situation as possible. The dog is searching for
the wounded deer by following the blood track it has left and you, as
the dog handler, has to follow your dog until it finds the end of the
track. In Denmark you have to start with a track that is 400 meter long
and has laid in 3 hours. The judge follows you to see how the dog works
and how you read your dog's signals during the track. The dogs finds
this kind of work very interesting and satisfying.
